The beginnning of the school holidays was dissapointing with strong south easterlies and a big southerly swell but this week has been the opposite – we have had very little swell and apart from the afternoon storms it has been superb! The next few days look similar and the fishing has been pretty good too.We have caught amberjack, king fish, cobia as well as snapper, jewfish, pearlies, tusk fish, moses perch, maori cod and the odd coronation trout from the full days.
